Yesterday I wrote about the return of the IHG Point Breaks list, which is one of the best deals in miles and points. Unfortunately, there was a delay in IHG making the properties bookable, so even though they were listed as available for 5,000 points through October 31, 2016, they were not bookable yesterday morning. They became bookable yesterday afternoon, so if you’ve got your eye on one, I would urge you to book it sooner rather than later, as the “best” deals usually go quickly. I keep that page up to date with the current Point Breaks list, in both a map and table form, as well as links back to previous Point Breaks lists. That can be useful if you want to look back at which hotels have been on the IHG Point Breaks list before (they often go in cycles).
A few things I noticed were that this is the first time we’ve had ANY Intercontinental brand hotels in the last 3 Point Breaks lists.

Yes – I updated the post after it published because I found out that it’s not bookable yet. I have an email in to IHG to see when it will be bookable, but I would guess soon

I called IHG yesterday, seems the front line doesn’t know when it would be.
As a college football fan, this was a great chance for me to book a cheap room about 20 miles from the stadium. All of the “good” weekends were blocked out, but I did get a Friday night before a noon kick off, so that will save me a few hours of sleep. got .039 cpp, can’t complain.
