IHG Point Breaks are one of the best deals in the miles and points world – for only 5,000 IHG points, you can get a free night at one of about 150 hotels (updated quarterly).
I maintain a list of the current IHG Point Breaks, with a map and sortable table. If you’re interested in Point Breaks (and you should be), that would be a good page to bookmark – I continuously update it as new Point Breaks lists come out.
The current IHG Point Breaks list only goes through October 31st, and over the past few weeks, people have wondered when the next list was coming out, and which hotels were going to be on it.
IHG Point Breaks
I have heard from a contact at IHG that the new IHG Point Breaks list for November 2016, December 2016 and January 2017 will be coming out on Monday (October 31st). This new list will go for bookings through January 31, 2017.

Perfect. Going to be in Johannesburg in January. Stayed at the Hyatt next door to the Holiday Inn the last time I was there. It was fine. Well, it was more interesting than fine, but that’s another story for another day. I’ll be happy to get nice value out of some IHG points and save Hyatt points for a better use. That location was good and I’ll be happy to be back.
Wish I had time in the schedule to take them up on the IC Cali — loved Cali and the salsa clubs. But no time to get there in this window. Thanks for the update! I’d been wondering also when the new list would come out. I appreciate the post!

The new list comes out on, Monday October 31st, what time, 12:01 am? What time zone?
Would a points break stay count towards completion of the Accelerate promo? I have a challenge that requires 3 stays at different brands with a 20K bonus.
